1. How did you hear about CWB?Through Andy Hobbs who is one of the CWB trustee's. I received an email at work (I worked at Essex Cricket) & I thought this sounds like a great charity that do really good work.
I believe that sport has the power to help transform lives, it is a universal language & I wanted to be a part of using sport, using cricket to help lives in Africa. Sport is great for engaging with people from all different backgrounds, and to be able to teach HIV/AIDS Awareness messages through Cricket is very innovative and goes to prove just how valuable the gift of sport is.
I use to dance at FirstStepsUK in Chelmsford and they held a charity dance-a-thon for me which raised £2,000. The rest was generous donations & sponsorships from local businesses, friends and family

Trying not to cry in front of the children, when so over-whelmed by their joy and thankfulness that we came to see them and play cricket with them
