2010 Autumn Training Weekend
Another year and another sunny September weekend at the Deans Leisure Centre in Brighton ! The CWB autumn training weekend was once again blessed with sunny if brisk weather. Twenty plus volunteers, new and old, gathered for a weekend of training and preparation for the forthcoming projects in Botswana, Kenya and Rwanda.
Trustees and old hands were on hand to help the newbies prepare with a series of presentations, discussions and practical training sessions both in the hall and on the field. With the lessons learned from previous projects and training, the emphasis this year was more than ever on the integration of HIV/AIDS awarenes messages into all aspects of the cricket coaching.
