Saturday 2nd was assessment day again for the Autumn projects. Bad news was that we scheduled it for the same day as the Cricket World Cup Final, the good news was that the rooms at the Oval were warm for a change!.
We interviewed, assessed and presented to 21 prospective volunteers from across the UK and further afield. Although we had people coming from as far as Glasgow, Somerset, Leeds and Derby - Mike Farrant wins the prize for longest journey, taking an overnight ferry from the Netherlands.
We still have a number of people to interview who could not make the day following probably one of our biggest responses for new volunteers.
There may still be places available so please do get in touch if you would like to volunteer theis Autumn.
