Empower Communities through Sport with Us

Cricket Without Boundaries is recruiting for several voluntary positions to join our Board of Trustees. We are a largely volunteer led charity, and our purpose is to use sport, cricket in particular, as a tool for delivering social change.

The charity has three key goals:

  1. Empower communities
  2. Coach children and train adults to ensure sustainability in our programmes
  3. Link the game to messages and action on health and social issues

We do this through working with local delivery organisation (in Africa and the Middle East), cricket associations and other sport for development organisations to increase capacity and knowledge through integrated coaching, linking skills and games to specific health messages.

Whether you are an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level we want to hear from you.

Our new Trustees will have skills in one or more of the following areas:

  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Community Development (either in the UK or abroad)
  • Volunteer Management

We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates.

As a Trustee you will have:

  • Induction, training opportunities and reimbursement of expenses
  • Opportunity to make strategic decisions and learn new skills
  • Opportunity to shape future partnerships and opportunities.

The expected time commitment is four annual Trustee Board meetings (held virtually), two to three fundraising events per year and ad hoc business contributing to projects. The charity is run virtually without an office.
