CWB are very saddened to hear news of the death of Peter Jamieson in December. Peter's father David is a CWB Alumni, having travelled to Kenya on a project in Spring 2012.

Peter's very unexpected and sudden death have left his family and friends heartbroken, but as testament to his memory the family have set up a memorial fund of which CWB will be the beneficiary.

David said "Peter's love of sport and children was evident throughout his life. From the earliest time he was a keen sportsman and later, when he became a teacher he passed this love onto his students. He was a great advocate for the power that sport can have in changing people's lives. We think that a memorial fund to CWB is very fitting tribute to our son."

CWB charity executive Hannah Weaver said "we are deeply saddened by Peter's death and our heartfelt sympathy is with his family and friends at this time. We are extremely touched that the Jamieson family have thought of us and our work at such a difficult time and we wish to thank them publicly for this gesture."
