Spring Project Trips
We are delighted to announce that we have started planning project trips for 2022.
We will initially be opening projects to volunteers who were due to go on a trip that was cancelled due to COVID-19, and existing volunteers with experience of delivering CWB projects.
The initial plan for project trips is as follows:
UGANDA – First 2 weeks of March 2022
Following feedback and reflection on the Uganda project:
KENYA – end of May/early June 2022
RWANDA (Leeds Trinity students) – end of May/early June 2022
We will be flexible with these projects, possibly sending smaller project teams for shorter duration projects. If you are a returning CWB volunteer and would like to join one of these projects, please email Lee
It is likely that we will have more volunteers than places on these first trips, but if all goes well, we will also be planning Autumn projects open to new volunteers for later in the year so please keep up your enthusiasm! We are very grateful for your continued support.
No project trip is without risk and in our preparations, we are reviewing our risk management plans and putting extra plans in place for possible COVID-19 related issues. We will continue to follow FCO advice for travel as well as using local information to keep all our volunteers safe.
